As a key element of the Futureminded event framework, our series of Futureminded Masterclasses will provide delegates with actionable market insights and an opportunity to engage in debate with thought leaders in the food, wellness, and hospitality industries. Featuring a carefully curated line-up of speakers, topics to be discussed include expert guidance on how to attract the attention of major retailers and a review of in-depth research into the way in which covid-19 has re-shaped the wellness industry.
Pre-pandemic, a caffiene pit-stop on the way to work was as much a part of the daily commute for many people as jumping on the tube or stopping by the gym on their way home. Likewise, spending a Sunday morning brunching in a cafe with someone you love and a frothy coffee was a regular feature of the lives of Londoners and beyond. Alas, this world is - for now - on hold.
It's true that 2020 has been a year of unexpected events, and while it has undoubtedly proved challenging for everyone involved in coffee, from the coffee shop owner to the artisan roaster, the industry's resilience has shown the immense benefit of people coming together to support one another. Now, more than ever, talking about mental wellbeing has never been so fundamental in guaranteeing success, both professionally and personally, as we strive to move ahead.
